Every Love, Death & Robots Episode Ranked

30. The Dump

The Very Pulse of the Machine
Netflix

There's a certain if all-too-brief charm that can be found in The Dump's final twist, which acts a great example of how weirdly funny Love, Death & Robots can be.

Unfortunately, the rest of the episode fails to live up to its finale, following an old, dump-dwelling man who's fighting an eviction notice and has a bizarre story to tell the city inspector who wants him to leave his home.

It's silly and darkly amusing, and never plays itself too seriously, but in the end The Dump is the kind of episode that is marginally fun in the moment, but fails to leave much of an impression once it's done.
