Every MCU Disney Plus Pilot Ranked Worst To Best

1. Wandavision

Moon Knight
Marvel Studios

Wandavision's first episode, Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience, might not be what fans of Marvel were expecting. Rather than any sort of action packed adventure with superpowers galore, the episode was shot to look like a 1960s I Love Lucy-esque sitcom. Vision (who somehow seems to be alive again after Avengers: Endgame) and Wanda are living a quiet suburban life and have to face their greatest challenge since Thanos: Dinner with Vision's boss and his wife.

The episode is fun and quirky, but also contains incredible setup. Fans of the MCU know that this can't possibly be real, so how is it all happening? Is this Wanda's choice, or is she some sort of prisoner? Who is this Agnes lady, just a nosy neighbor or something more? And what did that strange commercial halfway through mean?

Wandavision prompted countless fan theories throughout its run, and Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience got the ball rolling. Additionally, even without any of the fan theories, the episode works as a silly sitcom romp about a newlywed couple with superpowers. All in all, Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience marked a great start to Wandavision and a spectacular return to the MCU.
