Every MCU TV Show Ranked From Worst To Best

18. Inhumans: Season 1

Punisher Ghost Rider2
ABC

This one holds the honour of being the only MCU show (so far) to have been axed after one season. Don't feel sorry for it - it deserved its fate and then some.

Taking inspiration from Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee’s 1998 comic reboot of the Silver Age characters (that thrillingly played like 'Clive Barker's X-Men'). This show managed to take that dark and deliciously cinematic superhero tale and make a perplexing pig's ear out of it.

Just from a conceptual stage, it was all wrong; taking the elaborate atmosphere and careful tone from its source and shoehorning it into a tired fish-out-of-water scenario is the worst offender. And not just any scenario, they transposed these gothic themed aliens into bright and sunny modern day Hawian - yep, it doesn't work at all.

Add to that C-level production values, bland performances (asides from a decent Ken Leung), and plenty of lacklustre action. It only gets a spot higher than Iron Fist S1 because unlike that show's uniform blandness, Inhumans early episodes are entertaining in a glorious train wreck sort of fashion. Unfortunately, it can't even keep that up throughout its whole run.
