Every Netflix 2016 TV Series - Ranked In Order Of Anticipation
10. Club De Cuervos (Season 2)
One on the list you probably haven't heard of, but it proves that Netflix is truly a global brand, not just for English-speaking countries. This will be evidenced further in 2016 with the arrival of French-language drama Marseille, but 2015 was there first with Club De Cuervos, its first original Spanish-language series. The comedy-drama is focused on the fictional football club Cuervos FC, based in a fictional Mexican city, and the power struggle that ensues after the death of the owner. While this isn't one that will appeal to a mass-market, Netflix have enough faith in it to bring it back for a second season.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
