Every Netflix Marvel Villain Ranked Worst To Best

6. Benjamin 'Dex' Poindexter (Daredevil Season 3)

Benjamin Poindexter, played by Wilson Bethel, held his own in an origin story that ran alongside the major return of Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin. He certainly wasn't the villain fans were most excited to see in Daredevil's third season but his complexity gave us what could be the best on screen origin story we've seen for Bullseye.

In donning the Daredevil suit, Dex transformed Matt Murdock's vigilante persona into one of the season's greatest threats. He embarked on a killing spree at the New York Bulletin and the biggest casualty of all was Daredevil's reputation. Through Dex's impersonation, Daredevil fell from a figure of hope to one that instilled fear.

There is no doubt that Dex was manipulated by Kingpin. His already fragile state of mind was taken advantage of and despite his capability for violence, but you couldn't help but feel sorry for the character.

The end of Daredevil's third season teased Dex's transition into the famous Marvel villain Bullseye. It would've been thrilling to see the character's continued growth but with the show's cancellation, we'll have to stick to rewatching Daredevil's third run. It's either that or face Colin Farrell's 2003 interpretation of the character.
