Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best

8. Power Rangers Zeo

Legendary Battle Power Rangers
Saban Entertainment

Zeo was an exciting stepping stone in the timeline of the Rangers, as it still acted as a continuation of the previous Mighty Morphin' canon, but began to change it up enough to feel like a completely different show. It was the first season to fully alter the power suits, in order to to match up with the Super Sentai counterpart and add something new to the team.

Seeing familiar faces in new suits was great, and it felt like a fresh direction for the characters. Sadly, it saw a decline in viewership from the previous seasons, which would lead to the awful Power Rangers Turbo that almost killed the franchise. Despite this, Zeo was an incredibly charming series, with no real changes from its predecessor outside of the cosmetic alterations.

While the show wasn't the massive success that Saban wanted, it did at least lead the series in a direction that focussed slightly more on Sci-Fi, which would eventually take the Rangers to a whole new level. It's a less memorable piece of the franchise's history, but deserves credit for the shifts it began to introduce.
