Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best
19. Power Rangers Samurai
Like many other shows on the lower end of this list, the concept here was solid, but flawed in execution. Samurai focussed on the select group of teens inheriting powers from ancient Japan and becoming Samurai Rangers - as the title would suggest. Despite this compelling concept, the ending product was somewhat deflated.
While Power Rangers was never a series known for its impressive acting or high-quality writing, this show took home the prize for losing it entirely. While looking pretty awesome in their suits, the collected line-up felt like cardboard cut-outs of Rangers, with barely any personality and no exciting quirks.
Additionally, the visual effects on display were a surprising downgrade. Although the VFX were never something to write home about in previous seasons, they were impressive for the kids, and pretty decent based on the budget and technology of the time. However, Samurai - and its successor Super Samurai - let the force down by featuring some awful visual effects that made the show look unbelievably cheap.
It wasn't as fun, cool or good looking, which brings it down to the lower end of the scale.
