Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best

Sometimes, nothing beats the original. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers might not be the most technically sound show of the franchise, but it was the masterpiece that started the entire property, and acted as a perfect blueprint not only future Power Rangers shows, but children's TV in general.

The main cast of "teenagers with attitude" were incredibly charming, and as the series progressed the new additions only added to this. Of course, the baddies were also a tonne of fun, with classic villains like Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd still ranking as some of the best in the entire franchise.

This show also has the most identifiable monikers with the franchise, such as the hexagon suits, dinosaur monikers, and characters like Kimberly, Rocky and, of course, Tommy.

Mighty Morphin' was the beginning of new trends in TV, not only because it opened a lot of producers eyes to the great potential in observing the Japanese market, but because it was an inherently kick-ass show full of fighting and fun that kids hadn't really seen before.

While it's cheesy today, at the time the show was an entirely new and fresh experience for young audiences.
