Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best
15. Power Rangers Jungle Fury
Jungle Fury was more an unfortunate victim of circumstance than a bad Power Rangers series. It had the potential to be far better than it was, but was unfortunately trampled by the Writers Guild strikes of 2007-08. This resulted in a few episodes being rushed out by the original creators and then being taken over by non-union writers until the strike had passed.
There was a lot of potential with this series, as the focus on mentorship and combination of the Kung Fu training academy with the jungle theme had legs to stand on. Still, they were kicked out from underneath them, which resulted in the series feeling rushed and all over the place.
Another issue outside of its production was the shows striking resemblance to Wild Force. Rangers incarnations have certainly felt similar before, but the jungle focus felt far too reflective of this previous and better season.
From what can be judged of the final product, it is safe to say that if Jungle Fury had been born under better circumstances, it would have been higher on the list.
