Every Season Of How I Met Your Mother Ranked Worst To Best
1. Season 2
Ironically, the best season of How I Met Your Mother features the least searching for the titular mother. Ted spends the season in a happy relationship with Robin, where the two of them help each other grow. While the two ultimately don't belong together, they clearly love and care for each other, and without dating Robin, Ted could never have met the Mother.
Meanwhile, Marshall and Lily spend a few episodes apart, only to come back together in the hilarious yet touching episode Swarley and finally tie the knot in the equally hilarious yet touching Something Borrowed. Barney also gets the chance to show off a sensitive side we didn't know existed, as he meets his nephew and helps bring Lily back from San Francisco.
Every episode of the season contains several laugh out loud moments. Some of the highlights include Robin's secret past as a Canadian teen pop star; Barney's one man play, tailor made to annoy Lily; Bryan Cranston's appearance as Ted's boss; and Barney's hilarious nickname Swarley.
How I Met Your Mother Season 2 is the best season of an incredible TV series, sure to make fans laugh and capture their hearts enough to make them want to watch the last seven seasons.
