31st Century Fox is another episode with a political message to it. The episode focus on fox hunting. In it, while getting new uniforms, Bender buys a fox hunting uniforms and while initially into fox hunting, goes against it when he finds out the fox is a robot.

The reference in the episode isn't so much a reference to Star Trek itself, but a cameo. This time is is Patrick Stewart, who plays the master of the hunt, who in turn is revealed to be a robot. The cameo is fun, and Stewart, being the actor that he is, pulls it off exactly as well as you'd expect.

Patrick Stewart is a classicly trained actor who began his career with a run as part of the Rpyal Shakespeare Company and has a had a long and powerful career both on stage and on the screen. In Star Trek he plays Jean-Luc Picard, captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise in The Next Generation.

He solidified himself in history as Captain Picard often is placed against Kirk as the ultimate Star Trek captain. Having Stewart cameo on the show was inevitable as he has cameoed in a number of cartoons, notably American Dad where he plays Stan Smith's boss Deputy Director Bullock.
