Every Star Trek TV Series Ranked From Worst To Best

6. Star Trek: Enterprise

While it's true that the prequel series Enterprise is arguably the most forgettable of the live-action Star Trek TV shows, that was through no fault of its own.

It was a decent show that simply had the misfortune of coming out during the tail-end of a nearly twenty-year period of nonstop Star Trek television, by which point most people were likely starting to get a bit burnt out on the franchise.

However, if you go back and look at it with a fresh set of eyes, it's actually pretty good. It had some of the best episodes in Star Trek's history and featured a solid cast of characters, most notably Scott Bakula's Captain Archer.

That said, Enterprise was also probably the weakest of the live-action Star Trek series. That still puts it leagues above plenty of other shows out there, but despite how good it was, it just didn't quite live up to its predecessors (or, chronologically speaking, its successors.) However, that just goes to show that even at its worst, Star Trek on television is pretty great.

Enterprise may have been somewhat divisive among fans and critics (something that apparently tends to happen with Star Trek prequel series, but more on that later), but it was still a solid show, all things considered.
