Dwayne Johnson is a man made of almost nothing but muscle and pure charisma, and it's thanks to his charm that Ballers is able to succeed.

The series, which is a bit like Entourage but about American football, doesn't have too much else going for it - the supporting characters aren't particularly interesting and it's hard to care about a lot of it - but Johnson's personality and chemistry makes it watchable.

It's not the best use of his talents, but it is a nice opportunity to see him on the small screen.
