8. The Cast

The trio of lead performers will return in season 2, which begins production early this year and is expected to air early 2021. Unsurprisingly Henry Cavill will return as Geralt, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allen as Ciri. Jodhi May will also re-appear as Queen Calanthe.

The re-appearance of Queen Calanthe will likely mean they will revisit familiar stories, hosting some of the same characters you have become familiar with in the first season. After the final episode teased us with flashbacks of Geralt’s childhood, it wouldn't be a long shot to suggest you may be seeing more of that story back in season 2.

The question for fans, inevitably, is who will join them? More of that soon.
