Faking It: MTV's Latest Must-see High School Comedy
Presented by MTV.
A new comedy series about tolerance, respect and being popular at school is premiering next week on MTV UK, and you could win a big prize by sharing your embarrassing story.
Faking It is set at Hester High School, unique because of its attitude towards being cool where anyone whos different isnt made to feel like an outcast and could even be popular.
Best friends Amy and Karma are trying everything to become popular, but its not until the girls are outed as a lesbian couple at a cool party that their newfound popularity puts them in the running for Homecoming Queens.
The only problem is: they arent a couple.
But with their popularity soaring, the party invitations flooding in, and jealous detractors trying to expose them, Amy and Karma must decide whether its worth faking it to stay in the upper echelons of cool at school. Judging by the trailer, Faking It promises some hilarious lines and plenty of drama, both in the high school and television genre sense.
In the meantime, you could be in with a chance of winning a holiday worth £1,000 as MTV launches its Faking It contest.
All you need to do is tweet @MTVUK with the time you tried something weird in order to fit in. Use the hashtag #fakingitstory to get involved, and maybe youll realise your own mortifying tales of faking it to be popular arent as bad as you first imagined.
