After the conclusion of the Infinity Saga, Phase Four looks set to introduce more newcomers to the franchise than ever before. Most of the original Avengers have either died or retired, leaving Earth a little thin on the ground in terms of heroes, and the door open for new ones to come through.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier introduced the new Captain America in episode one, and there was another potential new hero introduced along with him.

Lemar Hoskins is John Walker's partner and sidekick, going by the name of Battlestar. It's yet to be revealed exactly how he came by that name in the MCU, but in the comics it wasn't the first moniker he went by. Serving with a group known as the Bold Urban Commandos (the BUCkies), Hoskins went on to partner Walker when he made the jump to Captain America. He actually took on the name of Bucky, before realizing the name had racist connotations and changing it to Battlestar.

The overall impact Hoskins will have on the series is still uncertain, but there is certainly the potential for him to work as a new hero moving forward in the MCU. This could ultimately depend on what side Walker truly lands on, and how loyal Hoskins is to him.
