8. The Flag Smashers Have A Conscience

As with John Walker, the Flag Smashers were briefly introduced in the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but didn't receive any proper development or further exploration until the second.

Joaquin Torres first described them as people who preferred life during the Blip, and who were working towards a world undivided by national borders. This could easily have been the beginning of a generic MCU antagonistic group, but it seems that Karli Morgenthau and her rebel crew go somewhat deeper than that.

While they did prefer life during the Blip, they are also sticking up for the people who survived it. In their eyes, the Global Repatriation Council cares more about those that have come back than those who had to live and struggle through the last five years. From Sarah's situation alone, with the bank refusing her a loan, it's easy to understand the Flag Smashers' motivations.

They have been called Robin Hood, as they are taking medicines and vaccines, and giving them to those in need that survived the Blip. The group don't appear to be just your run of the mill MCU villains, they are in fact far more complex than that.
