Another live action cameo that worked. Rob Lowe has actually done voice work on the show, but in the live action segment at the end of 2009's "Not All Dogs Go To Heaven" he pokes fun at his celebrity status by fist-bumping Adam West while the two exclaim that they're big Hollywood stars before settling in for the night (why the two actors are living together, sharing separate beds in the same room as in older era sitcoms, is never explained). It's a send-up of several things: the idea that the Family Guy universe exists in the molecules of a lampshade in their bedroom is a riff on the whole "grain of sand" idea which has been done in various forms by several movies, TV shows, novels, and so on. The old sitcom "separate beds" thing. The idea that West and Lowe are still big stars (we all forgot about the sex tape, right?).
