6. Crushing His Father To Death
Peter Griffin's exploits with alcohol have been legendary and embarrassing. Peter is already a reckless human being but when alcohol is added to the equation, Peter's recklessness and stupidity are multiplied tenfold.
In the episode "Peter Two Dads", Peter dresses up as a clown to entertain Meg and her friends on her seventeenth birthday. However, Peter then remembers that he is at a party with adults and proceeds to drink. When it comes time for Peter to perform his unicycle routine, he falls down the stairs breaking the railing and lands on his father. Francis is rushed to the hospital but he dies of his injuries.
Francis Griffin was physically and emotionally abusive to Peter throughout his childhood. Francis's abusive behavior continued when Peter reached adulthood. He would also frequently criticize Lois for not being catholic and admonish Peter for not being catholic enough. So, when Francis finally meets his demise it feels like divine intervention rather than an accident.
