an early plot summary for the upcoming episode:
When Carter Pewterschmidt cancels the annual Quahog Christmas carnival, because he hates the holiday, Peter must transform his father-in-law from a Scrooge into a hometown hero in order to salvage the event. Meanwhile, Stewie devises a master plan to get the one and only thing he wants for Christmas.
"Stewie devises a master plan to get the one and only thing he wants for Christmas". Hmm. I wonder what that could possibly be? Brian back from the dead, maybe? That's not the only clue from upcoming episodes
that refer to Brian coming back from the dead. Executive producer Steve Callaghan said that Rudolph will assume the role of an avid runner who catches Brians eye. To win her over, he pretends to be a fellow jogger in another still unaired episode of Family Guy. Of course, Callaghan and his team could have changed their minds and written a different role for Rudolph, or even a whole new storyline for that matter, but fans hoping to see Brian again are keeping their fingers crossed for a Christmas miracle, and a rather bizarre romance by all accounts.
