Chris is a hilarious character and has some of the best lines in the show, while also sharing an interesting and complex relationship with his father. The best plotlines involving Chris are the ones that examine this relationship and showcase how much Peter and Chris are similar but also different, as Peter sometimes fails to connect with his son.

While the character has had some humorous and charming moments, Chris ultimately suffers from similar problems as Meg as he rarely drives the plot forward, especially when compared to the other members of the Griffin family.
