1. Road To The Multiverse
Often Stewie’s inventions can allow the Family Guy writers to take an episode to places most other shows never could. They have gone back in time, split characters into multiple versions of themselves, and in season eight, Brian and Stewie explored the multiverse in all its glory.
As Stewie put it, the multiverse theory essentially allows that every possible eventually exists somewhere out there. With Stewie having the technology to jump around between these different universes, it resulted in some wonderful places, different animation styles, and jokes.
From a universe where Christianity never existed, to the Griffins living in Bedrock, people having one happy head and one sad head, and the universe of misleading portraiture, around every corner there was something fun. The greatest of which was Family Guy’s take on the Disney universe.
'Road to the Multiverse' is the best ‘Road to’ episode of Family Guy, and it’s not even close. Even outside of this particular series of outings, this episode is widely considered to be one of the best episodes in all of the show’s near 400 episode catalogue, and likely will be for many years to come.
