2. The Talent
30 Rock has a cast that features some of the greatest comedic talent in the world as part of its cast. Tracy Morgan, Jack McBrayer (the breakout star), Jane Krakowski, Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey (more on her in a minute) are all at the top of their game right now. Not only is the cast working at the highest level but the writers are doing their best work as well which is a perfect mix to make one of the funniest shows of all time. No character seems miscast or out of place on the show and everything just works flawlessly allowing every joke to land, every character to shine and every storyline to progress perfectly. The show could have easily been a failure but all of the excellent people working on the show elevate it to greatness.
