This is more something that can be expected as any potential film project would be started on the basis of the availability of the actors. Therefore you have to presume that O'Bannon wouldnt even be talking about a potential Farscape film if at least some of the former main cast havent already signed on, at least in principle. But frankly, if any of the really major players are missing from the film then it will be a disappointment. Aeryn Sun and John Crichton have already been described as appearing, and there is the expectation that in the very least there would be appearances by Rygel, Chiana and probably even Stark. Sadly Ka DArgo was killed towards the end of The Peacekeeper Wars, but there will, of course, be a new DArgo running around - Aeryn and Johns son. Perhaps the nature of whether or not this will be a film or a pilot is going to show in what cameos from other recurring characters will make it through to the final script. Certainly it would be great to see Jool and Norathi again, but a lack of them wouldnt cause the disappointment that say the absence of Chiana might. In fact, what this crew might need is some more fresh blood.
