Large portions of The Walking Dead centre around one specific location, or safe-zone' - the farm, the prison, Alexandria and so on. Could it's spin-off series follow a similar trend? One rumour posits that a large amount of the initial six episode run will take place at a hospital. This would make sense in that the show starts at the beginning of the outbreak, meaning that a lot of the not-so-deceased may end up in hospital, as doctors attempt to figure out what exactly is going on. This would differ enough from the main series, as this wouldn't be an area for the characters to be based at for an extended period of time, but more one the show could dip into throughout an episode to focus on one element of the story that could spread out across LA. The Walking Dead itself begins in a hospital, so there would be some parallels if this series were to focus its attention on one. However, the lead characters are described as a teacher and a guidance counsellor, which doesnt exactly scream hospital, but then one of the children in the show is a drug addict, so it wouldnt be a surprise to see parts of his story there.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
