8. Why Must Every Show Feature An Insufferable Teenager?

A slightly different question to those asked about the actual storylines, but why must every show insist on featuring a teenager who deserves nothing more than to be dangled into a pit of walkers? Am I being too harsh on Chris? Maybe, but the word 'aggravating' doesn't even come close. He's in the middle of a war-zone, he's seen people die, he's not prepared for what's to come, but he's already whinging, whining, and moaning his way through the apocalypse. This isn't the fault of Lorenzo James Henrie who is doing a fine job of what the creators have clearly told him to do, but considering Nick's got immense addiction struggles while Alicia has realised her boyfriend is likely to be dead, Chris really hasn't had a lot to complain about yet.
