Final Space Season 2: 6 Reasons To Be Excited
4. No More Cabin Fever
As per the nature of the story, much of what we saw in the first season took place in the clunky metallic confines of a spaceship, with the odd planetary skirmish along the way. Galaxy One was prison and refuge to Gary, until its heroic destruction at the end of the series.
In accordance, Season 2 looks to have branched out significantly, with the trailers displaying an array of brand new locations. Underground caverns, cyberpunk cities and vast desert plains are just some of the new stomping grounds viewers will get to visit, and they all look wonderfully intriguing.
A larger expanse of locations is necessary in order to tell a more epic story, which is appropriate given how the scope increased with every episode of the first season. The show's creators now have the window to let loose their imagination with a far bolder resolve, so we can expect the overall look of Final Space to be bigger, sexier and more dazzling from hereon in.
With the narrative branching out, the restrictive spaceship environment is simply no longer cosmic enough.
