Final Space Season 2: 6 Reasons To Be Excited
3. Up Goes The Action And Horror
Likewise, all evidence points to Season 2 being a great deal more explosive and brutal. Final Space was an action space caper with the odd dash of gore. From the outset of the premiere episode, we saw dismembered floating corpses, severed heads and arms, and general whiff of death in the air.
It looks like there's going to be a lot more of that going on in the new episodes. After all, anything that involves Titans and the Lord Commander is bound to be unpleasant. In such instances, the humour takes a back seat and the darker elements of the show manifest for viewing pleasure.
There also looks to be an intensifying of action, set to dwarf any spectacle seen in Season 1. Obviously, the trailers aint going to give away the best bits, but they do show snippets of shootouts, vehicle chases and, as one might expect, space battles.
Engineered in the great tradition of edge-of-seat animated action shows like Samurai Jack, Final Space keeps quick-witted pacing and excitement close to its heart. And we've barely seen the tip of it.
