Friends: 10 Reasons Why Ross Is The Worst Person Ever
5. The Way He Reacts To Joey And Rachel
Season ten really is only slightly better than its predecessor. In one of its more ill-advised plotlines, Joey (Matt Le Blanc) and Rachel end up together after a season-long build-up. The pair try a few times to tell Ross about the development, but can't bring themselves to do it in fear of hurting him or finding out he doesn't approve.
All of this is unnecessary, really. It's fair they needed to tell him, but the last thing they needed was Ross's blessing, since he and Rachel hadn't dated in six years and Ross himself had just got together with Charlie (Aisha Tyler) on the same day she and Joey broke up.
Joey was fine with Ross and Charlie, but Ross was much less fine with Joey and Rachel (despite what he said) and spends the rest of the episode talking in a high-pitched voice, over-reacting to every little thing, and just being a genuine child.
Jealous and as immature as ever, he reaction is about as unnecessary and painful to watch as anything the show has ever done, even if he does eventually tell Joey it's okay in the end.
