6. The Oversized Jumper
In Season 3 Rachel brought us the almighty oversized jumper. Granted in the 90s these jumpers weren't classed as 'vintage oversized jumpers', because they weren't vintage at all yet. But just over two years ago, the jumpers Rachel was seen wearing in Seasons 3 and 4 hit rails on the high street and entered vintage stores. Some originals and some replicas.
The first time we saw Rachel in a 'vintage' oversized jumper was when she wore a grey Knicks jumper, later that Season Rachel donned a pastel purple American flag jumper.
It's fair to say that, since then, oversized jumpers have weaved their way in and out of fashion, with brands such as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger venturing their own takes on the item. But in 2013 this look really took off, with Kendall Jenner and Rihanna among other celebrities being pictured in them.
