Friends: 10 Times Rachel Green Predicted The Future Of Fashion

This item may not have been worn by Rachel, but she most definitely predicted the future of menswear.

In Season 5 Rachel takes it upon herself to dress Joey for an upcoming audition because, lets face it, his skin tight tee and mucky jeans were not appropriate. When the outfit is almost complete Rachel adds the cremé de la cremé: a man bag, or "man purse" as Joey calls it.

In the episode the bag, and Joey's new look, get mixed reactions from Ross and Chandler, but whether they like it or not, man bags are a huge part of menswear. For the past five years or so designers such as Burberry and Coach have shown man bags in their LC:M shows.
