Friends: 10 Worst Things Monica Has Ever Done

One of the best episodes of Friends, “The One With The Embryos” is the most misleadingly titled. While the story of Phoebe’s embryo implantation delivers laughs and a good ending, it’s an apartment bet trivia game that steals the show.

A boast by Chandler and Joey that they know the girls better than the girls know them, leads to the game where each party tries to prove they are the best. Turns out the boys know the girls better than the girls had anticipated. Playing Ross’ trivia quiz against boys ends badly for Monica and Rachel, as they lost the game, and with it, their apartment.

Monica, being as competitive as she is, without even consulting with Rachel risked their beautiful and clean apartment and lost it in exchange for Joey and Chandler's considerably less nice one. Later, trying to renegotiate with Chandler and Joey she also lost their mattresses. It was a bitter pill to swallow, and Monica had to spend several episodes trying to adjust to her new apartment.

Although she tried to clean up Joey and Chandler's apartment to make it more liveable for her and Rachel, it came at a cost and the girls detested living there until they managed to trick the guys and eventually took their apartment back with Phoebe's help.
