Friends: 10 Worst Things Phoebe Has Ever Done

Nobody really knows why, but Phoebe seems to have it in for Chandler. Whether he did something to upset her, or if it's an irrational disliking, we don't know. Phoebe simply doesn't have any respect for Chandler. This shows a lot when he's always the butt of her jokes, or just the recipient of most of her insults.

As the show went on, Phoebe's insults towards Chandler got more and more brutal with less and less humour in them. It even got to the point where her only interactions centred around verbal abuse towards him. Obviously this could just be because Chandler makes jokes to everyone about everything and she was fed up of it. Or maybe it's because she doesn't really like him but puts up with him because he's part of the group.

We'll never really know the reasoning behind Buffay's cruelty to Chandler, but it seems others agree. During the end of a discussion between Joey and Rachel, Rachel admits that if she had to punch someone in the face it would be Chandler, but she wasn't sure why. Maybe Phoebe started to rub off on her.
