Season 10 Episodes 17 & 18 In a shocking revelation, the last ever Friends episode (for now at least) wasn't actually the most watched in show history, even if it was one of the most entertaining. Following on from the established trend of introducing double-header episodes, the show was a TV event to end all TV events, and breaking the 50million mark was a massive achievement, especially after 10 years. Inevitably the main focus of the episodes saw Ross and Rachel get a resolution, with Ross sabotaging Rachel's career of a lifetime by telling her he was still in love with her. Despite all of the low-points and the opportunity to move to France, Rachel shared the same revelation in an ingeniously plotted sequence that saw her struggling with her revelation over an answer phone message on Ross' machine. And that "I got off the plane" line is still enough to give even the most cynical of viewers a raging case of the feels. Plus there's no doubting the authenticity of the emotion among the cast.
