Season 10 Special Strictly speaking this special wasn't a canonical episode, but the fact that almost 37 million people in America alone tuned in to watch a celebration of the show that amounted to a clip show is an astonishing achievement and testament to how beloved the show was. This was merely the appetiser for the double-header finale that most will expect to have been the most watched of all Friends episodes and while it wasn't the most innovative, it was a wonderfully made tribute that fit in with the ceremony of the last episode and featured some of the best moments of the entire show's history.
