Ross Geller and Chidi Anagonye are two of the smartest men in TV comedy history. Both are professors and academically gifted, yet the pair aren't always the most successful in other aspects of their life.
Chidi finds himself unable to make any decisions in his life, and is ultimately killed by a falling A/C Unit as he struggled to move through indecision. He wrote a 3,500 page thesis that was unreadable as he couldn't come to a conclusion. Despite this he finds a group of unlikely friends in the afterlife and finds love with his ultimate opposite and "soulmate" Elenor.
Ross on the other hand struggles with his love life. Known for his multiple divorces and his on-off relationship with Rachel; Ross can be insecure and socially awkward. Yet, he is always trying to be the best version of himself and despite his flaws his friends are always there for him when he needs them.
