In Friends, Joey Tribbiani and Ross Geller became friends thanks to Chandler Bing. Ross' old college roommate would soon become Joey's housemate, and a friendship was born.

Though not as close to each other as with Chandler, the pair developed a strong bond over the ten seasons of Friends. When Ross was getting married, he struggled to decide who to have as his best man, eventually deciding that he needed both Joey and Chandler at his side. Joey even once seemed to put his life on the line for Ross... although it turned out Joey was just trying to save his sandwich.

Things weren't always perfect with these pals, though. Ross fell for Joey's girlfriend Charlie, who was a fellow palaeontology professor. Joey in turn developed feelings for Rachel, the one person that Ross seemed destined to end up with. Despite these ups and downs, when it comes down to it, Ross and Joey were always there for each other.
