Friends: Rachel's Boyfriends Ranked!

Tommy suffers from the same issue as Russ in that he seems to only be in the show for the sake of making one joke. Still, he climbs a lot higher because it is one hell of a funny gag. Plus, it never hurts to see Ben Stiller having a whale of a time in a role.

The character makes a one-episode appearance in "The One With The Screamer" from season three and has the luxury of being the titular "screamer". He begins dating Rachel and keeps his anger issues secret from her, but Ross gets to witness him berating people with vicious bursts of screaming, which would make even the heaviest death metal singer want a lozenge.

He can't rank highly at all, as most of his time with Rachel is spent pretending to be someone else, i.e. a nice person who doesn't scream at people. However, the spirited performance from celebrity guest star Ben Stiller and flavourful character scores him some points.
