Friends Reunion: 18 Glaring Questions It Must Answer

1. Are They All Still Friends?

The most enduring question of the entire Reunion issue is whether or not the six Manhattan residents are actually still friends. That might seem somewhat harsh to suggest, but how many of your friends from your younger days do you still keep in contact with regularly? Yes, you might want to keep them in your life, but life gets in the way. Kids, work, and family responsibilities get in the way, and the friends you had your most fun with are replaced with play date parents and colleagues, who are your friends simply because you have to spend the most time with them. So what or Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Joey? Do they even still see each other? Their lives were all headed in different directions, and it could be that the sad caveat to the show's happy ending was that they've all grown apart. Perhaps that should be the foundation of a Getting The Team Back Together style storyline - which would inevitably be better than any forced emotional story arc Warner might dream up...
