Friends: The Impossible Emily Waltham Quiz
Can you remember where Emily was from or who set her and Ross up on their first date?
Is Emily Waltham the most hated character in all of Friends? She of course temporarily stole the affections of Ross Gellar and as we were clearly put in Rachel Green’s point of view during their love triangle, Emily essentially became the villain of the piece.
She was the outsider. The slightly stuck up Brit amongst carefree Americans. She never stood a chance of being a likeable character.
It also didn’t help that the writers had to write her exit from the show earlier than they would have liked as the actress Helen Baxendale became pregnant in real life. The show runners did not want another baby storyline for Ross at that time and they had to hastily end the Emily and Ross storyline prematurely.
