Fringe Cast: Where Are They Now?

3. John Noble

Fringe Walters White Tulip
Fox

Walter Bishop can be seen as either a dangerous madman, or an innocent victim of his own experiments. He has a moral compass that occasionally shatters like glass and his experiments on children, while they may have began with good intentions, were undoubtedly cruel.

Yet, he loves his son deeply. John Noble sells this aspect of his character with a sincerity that is at the time intense and lovable. He was of course no stranger to acting when he was cast in Fringe. His most high profile role was Denethor, Steward of Gondor in Peter Jackson's Lord Of The Rings trilogy.

He is Australian, splitting his time between Sydney and New York. He voiced the Scarecrow in Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015 and most recently appeared as Sam Butcher in the Amazon Prime series The Boys. He also appeared as himself in one episode of Legends of Tomorrow.
