8. Jarred Harris
Harris, the son of Irish actor Richard Harris, played David Robert Jones on Fringe - something of a madman who wanted to travel between the worlds. His star has absolutely soared since his tenure on the show.
Appearing in earlier films such as The Rachael Papers, 32A and Resident Evil: Apocalypse, he has subsequently appeared in Lincoln, Mad Men and The Crown. He received widespread recognition for his portrayal of Captain Crozier in AMC's adaptation of Dan Simmons' novel The Terror.
For this role, he received the Royal Canadian Geographical Society's Louis Kamookak Medal, awarded for making Canada's geography better known to Canadians and to the world.
His next widely praised role was that of Valery Legasov in HBO's Chernobyl, the start and frightening docudrama surrounding the events of the Chernobyl disaster. He will next be seen in Sony's Morbius, alongside Jared Leto, and will play Hari Seldon in Apple Tv+'s Foundation series.
