Futurama: 10 Worst Things The Planet Express Crew Ever Did

8. Fry Dug Up His Nephew’s Grave

Futurama set itself apart from its animated competition over the years thanks to its ability to make you cry as well as laugh. There have been some incredibly emotional moments throughout the series, from Seymour waiting outside the pizza place for years, to Fry and Leela getting to live their lives together and go around again.

One of best moments of the entire show came in season three, when Fry realised that his brother didn't take his name and do great things, instead Yancy named his son after Philip J. Fry, and it was our Fry's nephew who became 'The Original Martian'. All in honour of his uncle.

When Fry finally read the inscription on his namesake's tombstone, it was a wonderfully touching moment, yet it is far too easy to forget the fact that he was actually digging up a grave! Even worse, he was digging up what he thought was his own brother's grave.

It's a horrible, disgusting act, and all to recover the seven leaf clover he thought his brother stole from him. Even if that was the case, this was surely an unnecessary overreaction.
