3. Space 1999

There are quite a few great references to other spaceships in pop culture throughout the series, but here€™s a pretty good obscure one. In the episode Where No Fan Has Gone Before, there€™s a scene where a bunch of Star Trek tapes are fired out of a ship onto a nearby planet. The ship in this scene is an Eagle Transporter from the 1970s science fiction series Space: 1999.
