Game Of Thones: 10 Ways The Season 5 Finale Sets Up Season 6

2. Baelish Could Lead The Vale Against The Boltons

Littlefinger and Olenna Tyrell have been off screen for way too long. Neither featured in the last three episodes of Season 5, which is more than enough time to plot the breakout of her grandchildren, the assassination of a king and start a war. Baelish's mysterious end-game is still unclear, and due to his untrustworthy nature, nobody knows how powerful he really is, though the answer is surely 'very'. The Boltons looked strong when they wiped out Stannis' forces, but without the key to the North, Sansa, they can't expand their reign. Baelish has already mooted the invasion of Winterfell with knights from the Vale, so prepare to see more of that region, the Eyrie, and of course, more of the despicable Robin Arryn child, though hopefully he's learned a thing or two since we last saw his sickly little face.
