Game Of Thrones: 10 Biggest Anti-Climaxes

1. The White Walker Season 2 Ending

Are you ready for a confession? I didn't watch Game Of Thrones way back when it started. I was a latecomer to the party, but I've partied hard on the show ever since the very first time I saw a clip of it. What was that clip? Well, it was a bunch of ice dudes marching towards the Wall with shiny swords and dead people walking around. It was insane to see anything like that on TV in such stunning fashion. I eagerly raced through the show waiting for that scene to come back around, and when it did I was incredibly excited to see the White Walkers launch an assault on the Wall in Season 3. I was left disappointed. We saw the vast hordes of White Walkers, yet they were never mentioned again for a long while. Nothing ever materialised from a moment that I expected to be the start of the ice demons' rise to prominence in the story. In the grand scheme of things, it's cool that it took until Season 5 for them to show their hand at Hardhome, but at the time, it was an enormous anti-climax to see an army of the frozen dead not being used to their potential.
