Game Of Thrones: 10 Biggest Anti-Climaxes

2. Tyrion's Knockout Battle

Game of Thrones, the show about war and dragons without actually showing war and dragons. That's what we were all thinking during Season 1, right? We thoroughly enjoyed it, there are great moments, but the show didn't serve up what it displayed on the tin. The Lannister war camp provided an early sign of a large-scale battle, but Tyrion was quickly knocked out, and the all-out action was quickly skipped to the end of the battle. Not fair. I'm not saying we should be subjected to a Michael Bay-esque firework show or a slasher death-fest - some of the greatest scenes in Thrones have been slower-paced and dialogue-heavy - but it would have been nice to see Thrones' first effort at a major battle. I suspect the early show budget wouldn't have allowed them to go there so soon, though I'm guessing if the show was remade, the battle would've featured.
