Game Of Thrones: 10 Bizarre Fan Theories You Won't Believe

3. Where Do Whores Go? €“ The Sailor€™s Wife is Tysha/Tyrion's Wife

Tyrion We hear often in the books that Tyrion still misses his first wife, Tysha. We learn that she was not actually a whore, as he was told by his father and brother, and this information leads to Tyrion turning on his brother Jaime and murdering his father. When Tyrion questions where his first wife ended up after she had been passed around all the guards, Tywin responds with €œwherever whores go.€ This question plagues Tyrion repeatedly, as he does not know if his father is speaking figuratively or not. We learn of The Sailor€™s Wife, a much visited whore in the port of Braavos. She is mentioned in the POV chapters by Arya and Sam. Arya has visited her to sell her wares as the €œCat of the Canals€ and the singer Dareon visits her when he lands there with Sam. He is also a brother of the Night€™s Watch, but decides that he would rather be at the whore house than stuck in the room with Gilly, Sam and the baby. The unique thing about the Sailor€™s Wife, is that she insists on marrying each customer she sees. She mentions her first husband who is lost to her, and also her daughter that Arya describes as having fine long golden hair. Knowing that Lannisters are gold of hair, and that this Sailor€™s Wife will not let go of the memory of her first love, some have said that they believe that this whore is Tysha, and the child the daughter of Tyrion. If this is indeed the case, then I imagine Tyrion will now have his answer to where whores go.
