4. Septa Lemore Is Ashara Dayne
Through various POV chapters, the story of Ashara Dayne is slowly revealed. Although it is not definitive, we learn that it is rumoured she had been in love with Eddard Stark and was also possibly pregnant at the time of her death. The rumour is that she was so distraught that she was unable to keep Ned that she jumped to her death soon after she was told of her brothers death. Some believe she jumped due to the loss of her brother; others to the loss of Eddard Stark. We meet Septa Lemore in the Tyrion POV chapters once he has joined Connington and the others on their way to meet with Daenerys Targaryen. He suspects himself that she is not a real Septa and is hiding her true identity. She is described as being older and has long dark hair; Lady Ashara was also known to have dark hair. I am not sure if I am on board with this one, as there just isnt really enough evidence to prove who this Septa is, but I agree with Tyrion that she hasnt always been one, and is possibly hiding her true identity. Since everyone else on board was not who they first said they were, I imagine at some point her real name and purpose will be revealed.
