Game Of Thrones - 10 Fantasy Fights All Fans Want To See
1. The Hound Vs. The Mountain
Okay, technically the brothers, The Hound and The Mountain, did fight. They fought a lot as children, and they fought in the first season when The Hound saved Loras Tyrell's life. But what we want is a fight... to the death!
The Hound's hatred for The Mountain probably surpasses the hatred felt by any other character in the series. Ever since The Mountain scarred him for life, burning his face as a child for the despicable crime of playing with one of his toys, The Hound would have liked nothing more than to have killed his bigger brother.
The Mountain would scare most men enough to defecate their armour, but The Hound is scared of no man (unless that man has a few matches). The fact that The Hound would risk his life to save Loras, a man who in any other circumstance he would most likely despise, goes to show that Sandor Clegane wouldn't have needed a second invitation to take on his brother.
Gregor Clegane is some sort of zombie now, but that wouldn't stop The Hound from finding pleasure in ending him. It's unlikely they'll ever cross paths again, but if The Hound was to find himself in King's Landing maybe he'll finally take his opportunity to exact revenge.
The Winner: The Hound
It's a tough one to call, but before The Mountain was zombified The Hound would have more than held his own against his stronger brother. The Hound would have approached the fight more intelligently. Before The Mountain was out-fought by Oberyn, he feared nobody. To fight The Hound without an ounce of fear would have been foolish.
However, if they're to fight in the future, the Zombie Mountain might edge it, because once again, none of us really know whether he can die. Perhaps the only chance Zombie Mountain can be stopped is by being eaten by one of Daenerys' dragons...
